Sydney was a young boy in a village of Mt. Pyre. Now, he wasn't alone, his best friend Morty bragged about his ghost type Pokèmon. Sydney however, had his 10th birthday and received an incredible gift. He had gotten his first Pokèmon, a Poochyena. He took good care of it, while morty struggled with his Gastly. A few months later, he set out on a Pokèmon journey. Morty was willing to go with him. Along the way to the first gym, Sydney encountered a Seedot, who was very friendly. Together Seedot and now Mightyena were a great team. Morty was very envious. So he took his Seedot one night and ran away. Morty was too slow. So slow infact that Sydney could see him. He took the Seedot back and challenged Morty to a battle. Morty's Gastly and Haunter were no match for even Mightyena. After the battle, Morty cowardly ran onto a ferry, that took him to Johto. Before Sydney knew it, Morty was the fourth gym leader of the region. Sydney couldn't believe the television screen. Sydney set off, and came across the Elite Three, the strongest group of trainers in the Hoenn region. He had his team ready. Mightyena, Cacturne, Crawdaunt, Shiftry, and Absol. He easily beat the first, and the second, finally, he had become the first of the Elite Four. Morty had come to challenge the league, but his dark-type Pokèmon could not lose to him.
